Price and reliablity - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Bill127 - November 15 - 10:00 amWe were looking for a small SUV. We looked at the Ford Escape and found that 36 months for a warranty couldnt compete with the Santa Fe. We got a 6 cylinder instead of a 4 cylinder for less money.

Bevs Sante Fe - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By wearp - November 10 - 10:00 amIts easy to drive with little care. I especially like the feature where you can phone when theres a problem; however, I used it falsely when getting a warning light only because I didnt twist the gas cap three times. Its very sturdy, easy to handle and very comfortable on long distance trips.

Bought it knowing the possible problems - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By suekar - October 9 - 10:00 amI almost immediately experienced the"bump" when after driving a short distance I came to a stop. It seems to have been fixed with a computer replacement however I have just recently, after 5000 miles, had a scarey bump when going about 50 on highway. My passengers all felt it. That was two weeks ago and have not felt it since. Thats the extent of the problems and I knew about the transmission unevenness from extensive board reading. So, Im very pleased. Its great for the mountain and city driving I do -- now wishing for a hybrid that gets 40 mpg.

Good little SUV - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Paulie Peace - August 28 - 10:00 amThe car rides smooth and handles well--this being the first "non-car" Ive ever driven. No problem getting into and out of the Santa Fe and the seats are comfortable for all who ride in it. Plus I like that it has more of a car look to it-rounded ends and sides instead of the very sqare and straight"SUV/Jeep-y look" that most others seem to have. Good buy for the money--why spend more if you really dont have to? And a grea

By sly-fox53 - August 27 - 2:00 amWe looked at almost all suvs out there and the Santa Fe was by far the best buy and ride of them all. Best warranty on the market and the lowest price by far. We liked the vehicle so much and the warranty that we bought a Hyundai Elantra GT also. same thing best of everything.
